I have been involved with Bartek Chiropractic since June of 2009. My friends were telling me for quite some time to "go to a chiropractor," "go to a chiropractor." Finally, that day in June I called the office spoke with Dr. Edward Bartek and he gave me an appointment that very morning. It was great not to wait for an appointment. I have low back and hip trouble. My job as Certified Nursing Assistant at our local hospital aggravates whatever is causing my discomfort. My treatment consists of electric stimulation, heat packs, manipulation, and therapies with the different equipment. This was the greatest decision I made to do this because I feel a lot better, and I do not need Motrin or Advil as much as I did prior to Bartek's. I now come weekly for treatment and adjustments. My recommendations are an MRI and see a Rheumatologist to rule out RA or some type of arthritis. Bartek's is a family run office with the warmth and compassion you look for and desire with any medical profession.

I have been a patient of Doctor's Mary & Edward Bartek for five years. Usually I go once a month for a lower back adjustment on my left side. One of my legs is significantly shorter than the other which causes pain on my entire left side. My visits continue to improve my well-being and I normally feel great.
However, last Monday I woke up to a horrible stiff neck. I could not turn my head without pain. After taking two Advil I left for work. Working in an elementary school with small children of all shapes and sizes I was in severe pain. It was so painful that at one point I tied an ice pack to my neck. At lunch I call the doctors and I left work to try to get some help. By the time I left their office I felt like a new person. Both doctors worked on my neck and upper shoulders plus I had a massage by their assistant. Fantastic job. What a relief! I would recommend this practice to anyone having similar issues. Dr. Bartek has been a wonderful help to me, after a car accident that caused whiplash (cervical sprain) and lower back pain. I am extremely pleased for all of their help, concern and relieving me of the pain that made it impossible to function normally.
